Jeremy #Bamber : Still Trying To Pin The Murder On Sheila Caffell !

The difference between menstrual blood and regular blood...in short I do not believe Ann Eaton somehow mananged to contaminate the silencer found in the gun cupboard with Sheila Caffells blood soaked panties. Forensic even in the eighties, would be able to tell the difference.

Menstrual blood is a mixture of blood and uterine lining tissue, which is not found in regular blood.

Professor Vanezis noted that Sheila was menstruating and commented, according to notes he made at the time, that this "may well have been significant as it could have made her more unstable".

The lengths 'Team Bamber' are going to to prove Sheila was the killer are stunning....

Specifics of Menstruation

Menstrual blood itself is not inherently dirty, nor does it necessarily smell bad. However, once menstrual blood comes into contact with oxygen or air it will exhibit a distinctive odor. Towards the end of their cycle, some women's menstrual blood turns a darker red or even a dark brown color.

Menstruation
Menstruation occurs when the broken down lining of the uterus flows out through the vagina.

Menstruation generally lasts from 3 to 7 days. Some women will regularly have periods for shorter or longer than this.

The length can also differ from one cycle to the next.

In addition to blood, menstrual fluid is made up of several components including endometrial cells, cervical mucus and vaginal secretions (6). The amount of menstrual fluid lost also varies but a woman generally loses between 50-100ml of fluid (7). Menstrual flow may be heaviest or lightest at the beginning of menstruation or may change throughout. The colour can range between black, brown, dark red, bright red and pink. Menstrual fluid only tends to have an unpleasant odour after it has been in contact with air for a period of time.
